Now 13 lb lower than when registering latest success at Wincanton a year ago. Turned in best effort of the season when third at Ludlow last month but wasn't convincing and doesn't strike as likely to build on that.

Improved for switch to chasing in 2021/22, winning 3 times. Not in same form both starts for this yard 19 months apart but did shape much better than bare result on comeback at Wincanton, going through the race as well as any until lack of an outing told. Well treated if building on that.

Won twice (at Stratford) from 4 starts last season for this yard and probably needed the run after 16 months off at Doncaster 5 weeks ago. Better expected now.

Successful at Bangor and Ludlow last term but ended that campaign with a couple of rather subdued efforts. Some encouragement both starts this season and is becoming well treated.

Poor handicap chaser who got back to winning ways under a positive ride in a thin race at Taunton 7 weeks ago. However, struggled at Exeter next time and 8 lb out of the handicap here.

YGGDRASIL shaped much better than the distance beaten suggests returning from 19 months off at Wincanton last month and is potentially well treated if building on that back down in trip. Davidoc is worth another chance to confirm chase debut promise with a good-value conditional booked, while Force de Frap is another who is lurking on a dangerous mark.
