Smart hurdler who has ran right up to his best in pair of starts this winter, leaving the impression he was stretched by the trip when sixth of 10 in Grade 1 Long Walk at Ascot (24.4f) 4 weeks ago. Lead player on these terms returned to calmer waters.

Smart performer who landed the Grade 2 Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton in February and has returned in rude health, runner-up at Sandown before adding to his tally in clear-cut fashion at Hereford (19.7f) last month, his class firmly telling. Respected for all this will definitely demand more.

Quickly made up into a smart juvenile last term, winning first 4 starts before finishing third in the Triumph Hurdle in March. Good fourth in Gerry Fielden on return and in process of running well when falling last in Relkeel at Cheltenham (20.2f)16 days ago. Still unexposed at this trip.

Made up into a smart hurdler last term, winning a couple of big handicaps, including the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury. Hasn't convinced with his jumping despite winning first of 2 starts over fences this season but he could well resume progress back in this sphere.

Became the first dual winner of the Coral Cup at the Festival in March before solid placed efforts in Graded company. Hasn't yet fired in 2 starts this winter and his very best form has often come in the spring. Passed over on this occasion.

Not for the first time, BLUEKING D'OROUX just seemed to find his stamina stretched late in the day but still emerged with credit when finishing midfield in the Longwalk at Ascot 4 weeks ago. He looks to hold sound claims with his sights lowered back down in trip. Nemean Lion will find this more demanding than his assignment at Hereford but is respected, whilst it's feasible to think Iberico Lord and Salver both have more to offer.
