Front-runner who gained a fourth success of a very productive first half of the season when proving a length too strong for a subsequent winner at Sedgefield at the start of October. Has since switched from Donald McCain to Laura Horsfall. Likely still on a workable mark.

Point winner who showed promise in bumpers/novice hurdles for this yard last season. Well beaten on Exeter handicap debut and reappearance 24 days but he probably needed the run.

It's now 19 runs since his last win in 2021 and recent efforts don't point to him snapping the losing run soon. Blinkers off, cheekpieces back on.

TOONAGH WARRIOR could be spot on for this with his reappearance behind him and gets the vote in first-time headgear. Alastair Ralph has his team in form so Thankyourluckystar rates a possible threat on his first outing since scoring at Worcester in June. The prolific Barrons Land has changed stables since his latest win but still merits respect.
