Bumper winner. Yet to win over hurdles but struck 3 times in points last season and should find this trip more suitable than the 2m he ran over on last month's stable debut. A market move would be interesting.

Jumping errors meant he was unable to progress as might have been expected over fences and he's been unable to make a significant impact back hurdling, albeit last week's 19.5f course fourth was respectable.

Posted best effort in this sphere when creditable second of 9 at Market Rasen (18.5f, good to firm) in September but more to it than the longer trip when a below-form fifth over 3m at Ludlow since. A first-time visor replaces his cheekpieces now.

Runner-up twice in maiden hurdles over the summer but not in the same form on his last 2 outings. His yard's good form of late provides hope that he can bounce back to his best but others still look stronger for the win.

Second on his C&D handicap debut for Jennie Candlish in October 2023 but hasn't managed to build on that in his 3 starts since. First start for 5 months. Others are more obvious.

Reacted well to a tongue tie when an improved second in Stratford handicap in June but not in quite the same form when fifth at Wincanton 4 months later. Has first-time cheekpieces added to his tongue strap now.

Veteran now but shaped as if retaining plenty of ability back from 12 months off when 15¾ lengths fourth of 9 to Karakoram at Ludlow (3m, good to soft) 19 days ago. Needs to build on that now.

Poor form but he did reach the frame 3 times in low-grade handicap hurdles for Dominic Ffrench Davis. 3 lb out of the weights on first outing for new trainer Tom Symonds.

Poor maiden who has failed to get competitive from low marks since joining this yard. Hard to make a case for.
