Four-time chase winner who came close to ending his losing run from a slipping mark at Fontwell last time. Back up 4 lb and while he is unlikely to be far away, some of these are more appealing from a win point of view. Tongue strap added.

Placed on couple of occasions over hurdles for Dan Skelton and encouraging start switched to fences for new yard when third of 6 at Southwell (20.4f, good). 2 lb lower here and while a return to 3m+ wouldn't go amiss, he is nevertheless interesting.

Fairly useful bumper performer who doubled his tally over hurdles off this mark at Fontwell (17.7f, good) in May. Underwhelming start to chasing at Worcester but stepped up on that when fourth of 10 back from a break at Ludlow last month. Each-way chance.

Winner of 4 of his 7 starts between the flags and opened Rules account at the thirteenth attempt in a 10-runner C&D handicap chase last month. More needed up 5 lb in this stronger race but he's considered all the same.

No great shakes over hurdles/on the Flat in Ireland but has upped his game for new yard, runner-up in a Perth handicap hurdle in September prior to again finding just one too good on recent chase debut chase at Ludlow (2½m, good to soft). Pulled well clear of the third there and 3 lb rise fine.

SUPERBOLT had the rest well beaten off when a promising second to the in-form Nickelforce on his chase debut at Ludlow and, with the likelihood of better to come from this 4-y-o, he will take plenty of stopping. Mahler Moon is also open to improvement in this sphere and is feared most ahead of last-time-out C&D winner Moodofthemoment.
